(Solved) MI TV Remote App Not Detecting MI 4A TV

Control your MI TV with your phone using Mi Remote. Whenever you can’t find your remote or feel like pranking your friends, Mi Remote will be there to help. We also have all the information you need about your favorite TV shows, so you can switch the channel faster, or even watch the show on your mobile device. Mi Remote brings watching TV to a new level!

In some android devices this app doesnt work.



here are some tweaks so you can make it working.

1. Download Mi Remote controller - for TV, STB, AC and more from Play Store
   
   
2. Check Language setting it must be English (India).
   To check it go to Languages & input setting in settings. then remove all other languages and keep English (India).
   
   
   


3. Connect Mobile and TV to common WIFI or Connect TV with Mobile Hotspot.
   


4. Open Mi Remote App. Give desire Permissions
   


5. Not U see your MI TV name will show in list
   
   
   
   

If latest version App does not work try this method on older version that is working on my mobile
