• Device or Other IDs: We collect and process your unique Device Identifier (such as Android ID or Advertising ID). To protect your privacy, this data is hashed (mathematically scrambled) before being transmitted to our servers.
• Purpose of Collection: This identifier is used strictly for Fraud Prevention (preventing multiple trial claims on the same device), App Functionality, and Account Management for your premium status.
• Data Retention: This hashed identifier is stored securely to verify your trial eligibility and is not used for marketing or sold to third parties.

2. Data Security & Encryption

Encryption in Transit: We take the security of your data seriously. All data transmitted from the Recofy app to our servers is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS (TLS/SSL) protocols.

Local Storage: All videos and photos captured by Recofy are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to view, upload, or share your personal recordings. They remain under your exclusive control.

3. Permissions & Hardware Access

Recofy requires the following sensitive permissions to function:

• Camera & Microphone: Required to capture video and audio as initiated by the user. Used strictly for recording purposes.
• Storage: Required to save your media files to the device gallery or internal storage.
• Overlay & Foreground Service: Required to ensure stable recording while the screen is off or while using other applications.

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party SDKs that may collect data for performance and advertising:

• Google AdMob: Uses an Advertising ID to show relevant ads. You can reset this in your device settings.
• Google Firebase/Crashlytics: Collects anonymous crash logs and diagnostics to help us improve app stability.

5. No Account Creation Required

Recofy does not require you to create an account with a username or password. Your premium trial status is linked directly to your hashed device identifier for a seamless experience.
